Paysafe, a leading payments platform, has over 1400 employees in Bulgaria, making Sofia the company’s largest location on a global scale. The team here works across a variety of areas, including product and software development, customer service, risk management, accounting, IT services, and more.

In 2025, the company will become the first partner of Women Who Grow – Sofia. As part of the organization, Paysafe will select two company ambassadors to share their knowledge and experience with the Women Who Grow – Sofia network. Additionally, Paysafe will host and co-organize two events throughout the year, with more details to follow.
What sets Paysafe apart and positions it as a pioneer is its employee communities. One of the most active communities in Bulgaria is the Women@Paysafe Network, which supports women in the workplace through skills development, career advancement, inclusion, and more. A key initiative is the Speed Mentoring session, a half-day event where women in leadership roles share their experiences, offer guidance, and answer questions. In 2024, the event featured 5 mentors and 60 participants, who gained valuable insights on topics like balancing work and personal life, building confidence, and personal branding.
Gender equality is a priority at Paysafe, and it’s evident in the fact that 47% of the company's employees in Bulgaria are women.
Paysafe also cultivates a culture of community support by investing in various causes through
its corporate social responsibility program. In recent years, the company has significantly
expanded its volunteer initiatives, engaging more employees in efforts to make a positive social impact. These efforts support vulnerable communities, including children, youth, women affected by domestic violence, and elderly individuals in need. Paysafe’s initiatives have been carried out through partnerships with foundations like Bcause, Teddy Bear, Concordia, ABLE, Severozapad, PULSE, GLAS, Vitosha Nature Park, Emprove, “Stoyan Kambarev,” One of Eight, “Win over Cancer,” “Our Premature Children,” “Dechitsa,” and others. In 2024 alone, over 800 Paysafe employees dedicated 938 hours to volunteering work in support of these initiatives.
The company also supports young talent in Bulgaria by partnering with numerous higher
education institutions. Since 2011, Paysafe has run internship programs for Software Engineers, and in recent years has expanded to include financial internship programs. It also offers programs for fresh graduates, providing participants with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop in a professional environment. All internships at Paysafe are paid and aligned with the academic schedules of the candidates.
Paysafe occupies 7 floors in the Capital Fort building, offering employees a modern, inspiring workspace with spacious conference rooms and relaxation areas. The stunning views and proximity to Vitosha Mountain further support the work process. In the summer, employees have the opportunity to work from two of Vitosha’s most popular mountain huts – Balkanity and Red Riding Hood – both supported by Paysafe.
